The Faroe Islands are now on my bucket list!

The Faroes (e) gives the reader a picture of how the isolated Faroese population has developed the island's thriving community today, around the unique living conditions that prevail in the middle of the Atlantic. In the book we get to meet countless people who have helped to develop the community: among other: artists, chefs, businessmen, the bishop and the prime minister. At the same time, the book gives an insight to what life looks like for "ordinary" Faroeses. The pictures of people as well as the fantastic nature make me want to put the Faroe Islands on my bucket list!
