This book is a collection of true stories taken entirely from my own memory, and in some cases includes direct transcriptions of my journal entries. These experiences have also been validated by my family and close friends whenever possible.Why am I writing this?If you had spoken with me before 2008, before my brother passed away, you would have had a conversation with a very different person than I am today. Over the past years, I have found that my little brother, who taught me several valuable lessons in his lifetime, has continued teaching me even after his death.From the odd coincidences that surrounded my wife and I near the time of his death, to his choice of music for his own funeral, I found that my brother was a far more spiritual being than I had ever given him credit. It also opened my eyes to some of the potential that surrounds all of us. I began to read various books on several subjects, many of them leading to what we think of as "e;the paranormal."e; What I began to find however, is that much of the paranormal is rather normal after all. We may not think of it as normal, but I am coming to believe that this is more our misunderstanding of what "e;normal"e; really is.So, why am I writing this? I certainly did not need another distraction in my life. When I started writing this book, I was co‐founder and part owner of a successful software development company, which kept me busy at all times.This concept really started when one of the books that I was reading suggested keeping a journal of your thoughts during some basic meditation techniques. I began writing some of these experiences down, and continued to read more on the various aspects of the paranormal. When reading some of these, something would spark, and I soon realized that several "e;normal‐but‐odd"e; occurrences in my life may have a more paranormal aspect to them than I had initially thought.
