Notwithstanding the famous pop song, I have walked in L.A. A lot. For 20 years. This is the initial of 3 books of snapshots taken on those walks. The photos in Random Angels are meant upend the clichés about Angelenos, though some will reinforce them. And I make no claim to making art with the photos, though some I'm rather proud of. These photos are - in the truest sense - snapshots. My goal is not to prove any thing as an "e;artist"e;... it is, and has been, to catch and expose side glimpses of the city. Nooks. Crannies. The Los Angeles one doesn't expect, which I've come to believe is nearly all of it.
