Old MacDonald on the Move

Philip Ardagh is a an award-winning writer who has been published in over 40 languages around the world. His titles include Bunnies on the Bus; Bunnies in a Boat and Bunnies in a Sleigh, illustrated by Ben Mantle; Do You See the Tiger?, illustrated by David Melling; High in the Clouds, co-written with Sir Paul McCartney, and Stinking Rich and Just Plain Stinky, which won the Roald Dahl Funny Prize. He stands six feet seven inches tall with a most impressive beard, and lives in Battle, Sussex. She's received the Leipziger Lesekompass Award, and alongside illustrating children's books, Maria has worked for advertising agencies in Germany, France, Austria, UK and the US. There are, of course, plenty of chances to join in with the E-I-E-I-Os and to make the various animal noises – so it’s very much a sharing kind of book.I love the fact that this is a big, generously-sized book where the bold and colourful illustrations have been given plenty of space to pack lots of detail into each of the double-spread pages.
