La atribución de un valor monetario a un bien, servicio o persona depende de circunstancias, se desarrolla de determinado modo y genera consecuencias que no son asibles desde la noción de precio. Estas dimensiones no advertidas constituyen el foco de atención de la perspectiva que se presenta en este volumen. La división del trabajo intelectual en determinado momento consideró que los economistas se debían encargar de la cuestión del "valor" y los sociólogos prestar atención a los "valores". En torno a ellos se organizaron seguidores que empezaron a encontrarse en foros virtuales y en seminarios y talleres, para aprender las técnicas básicas de las finanzas y transformarse en inversores. Sin prejuicios ni subestimación, Daniel Fridman participó en esos grupos y vio hasta qué punto están atravesados por el ansia de la autonomía individual y cómo sus prácticas pueden iluminar la sensibilidad libertaria que pasó bajo el radar de la política mainstream . Este libro es un aporte extraordinario para comprender el neoliberalismo desde abajo, esa zona de inquietudes y aspiraciones que va mucho más allá de la lógica económica.
