This volume constitutes the proceedings of a workshop whose main purpose was to exchange information on current topics in complex analysis, differential geometry, mathematical physics and applications, and to group aspects of new mathematics.

This book contains the contributions by the participants in the nine of a series of workshops. Throughout the series of workshops, the contributors are consistently aiming at higher achievements of studies of the current topics in complex analysis, differential geometry and mathematical physics and further in any intermediate areas, with expectation of discovery of new research directions. Concerning the present one, it is worthwhile to mention that, in addition to the new developments of the traditional trends, many attractive and pioneering works were presented and their results were contributed to the present volume. The contents of this volume therefore will provide not only significant and useful information for researchers in complex analysis, differential geometry and mathematical physics (including their related areas), but also interesting mathematics for non-specialists and a broad audience. The present volume contains new developments and trends in the studies on constructions of holomorphic Cliffordian functions; the swelling constructions of minimal surfaces with higher genus in flat tori; the spectral properties of soliton equations on symmetric spaces; new types of shallow water waves described by Camassa-Holm type equations, the properties of pseudo-hermitian boson and fermion coherent states; fractals and chaos on orthorhombic lattices, and even an ambitious proposal of a graph model for Kaehler manifolds with Kaehler magnetic fields.

The geometry of almost complex structures is fundamentally concerned with complex analysis and also mathematical physics. In view of the increasing interest in almost complex structures, this volume will be useful in future studies of geometry and complex analysis, and related fields.

The primary focus of this workshop concerns the interplay between the rich variety of structures and infinitesimal methods. The topics included in the volume are complex and harmonic analysis, complex algebraic geometry, differential geometry, mathematical physics and topology.

The Third International Workshop on Complex Structures and Vector Fields was held to exchange information on current topics in complex analysis, differential geometry and mathematical physics, and to find new subjects in these fields.This volume contains many interesting and important articles in complex analysis (including quaternionic analysis), functional analysis, topology, differential geometry (hermitian geometry, surface theory), and mathematical physics (quantum mechanics, hamilton mechanics).

This workshop brought together specialists in complex analysis, differential geometry, mathematical physics and applications for stimulating cross-disciplinary discussions. The lectures presented ranged over various current topics in those fields. The proceedings will be of value to graduate students and researchers in complex analysis, differential geometry and theoretical physics, and also related fields.

The Sixth International Workshop on Complex Structures and Vector Fields was a continuation of the previous five workshops (1992, 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000) on similar research projects. This series of workshops aims at higher achievements in studies of new research subjects. The present volume will meet with the satisfaction of many readers.

This volume presents the cutting-edge contributions to the Seventh International Workshop on Complex Structures and Vector Fields, which was organized as a continuation of the high successful preceding workshops on similar research.The volume includes works treating ambitious topics in differential geometry, mathematical physics and technology such as Bézier curves in space forms, potential and catastrophy of a soap film, computer-assisted studies of logistic maps, and robotics.
