She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University, Noida, India. Holding a PhD in Economics and an MBA in finance, and having qualified at the national level test for teaching in higher education in India, Dr. Indapurkar finds her research interests at the crossroads of behavioral aspects of people as consumers of various goods and/or services or how do they make decisions with respect to formulating inflationary expectations or how do they decide to plan for their retirement or how artistic logic leads to economic dilemma among the artists. She has a flare for teaching students at the graduate and postgraduate level and enjoys teaching research methodology, money and banking, and regional economics. Her research interests lie in various areas like sustainable development, women empowerment, financial literacy and financial inclusion, consumer behavior, retirement confidence, public policy, to name a few.
