The turning point in his life came in 1992 when he was hospitalized with severe pneumonia. He remembers being aware of walking down a hospital corridor whilst knowing that his physical body was still in a bed on the ward. Following an introduction to a lady who 'dealt with these sorts of things', David's abilities began to develop at an alarming rate. He studied astrology to ground his abilities, and searched for meaningful ways to discover more about himself and to fulfil his life purpose. It has been a long road from catering manager to spiritual teacher, and along the way David has discovered personal strengths and faced many weaknesses, or as he puts it, 'admitted to them!'
