Clare C-Saunders is an award-winning actress, voice-over artist and author of the new novel, ‘Charlotte & Arthur’s Adventures, Yule & the Helter Skelter’, as well as the Amazon children’s bestseller, ‘Seven Nights of Snuggles’. Clare has also written for radio, her work includes a children’s online safety campaign series called ‘The Internet Wizard’ and the pantomime radio play, ‘Snow White’. In a professional acting career spanning over 20 years, Clare specialised in children’s theatre and enjoyed working with TV celebrities in various UK pantomimes. Her roles included Dorothy in an award-winning West End and touring theatre production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’, Princess Aurora in ‘Sleeping Beauty’ and Belle in ‘Beauty & the Beast’ to name but a few. During this time, she was frequently asked to meet children from the audience and in between the obligatory photo poses and programme signings she enjoyed finding out what they liked about the stories she was portraying. This is information which has always stuck with her, and she still utilises the children’s valuable feedback today to help write her own new and unique stories.Clare lives in an English countryside cottage with her husband, two children and a Newfoundland dog. She supports the National Trust and on her days off she enjoys a walk around their beautiful old buildings and amazing gardens with her family.
