Ledarskapet är speciellt inom en traditionsrik stiftelse som Nordiska museet. Styresmannen som är högsta chef måste agera både strategiskt och operationellt inom såväl det kulturhistoriska sakområdet som inom det administrativa. Christina Mattsson tillträdde som styresman 2001. Som känd visforskare med en blandning av erfarenheter efter många år på Sveriges Radio som programledare, producent och rikskanalchef för P2, blev det hennes uppgift anpassa verksamheten till förutsättningarna. I boken berättar hon hur hon tillsammans med medarbetarna lyckades driva utvecklingen från ett museum med svag ekonomi och ålderdomliga administrativa rutiner till ett företag som fjorton år senare arbetar modernt och rationellt med en ekonomi i balans. Christina Mattsson är känd visforskare och radiomedarbetare och tidigare styresman för Nordiska museet. Hon har svarat för tusentals program i Sveriges radio om svensk folkmusik och svenska traditioner. 1992-1999 var hon rikskanalchef för P2 och chef för Berwaldhallen. 2001-2015 var hon styresman för Stiftelsen Nordiska museet. I sin egenskap av visforskare har hon utgivit artiklar och uppsatser i folkloristiska ämnen och flera böcker, både om fula visor och snapsvisor, men också om andra folkloristiska ämnen, som till exempel Fula visboken (1977 tillsammans med Bengt af Klintberg), Lille Bror Söderlundh. This book is the first comprehensive collection of the letters of Johannes Brahms ever to appear in English. Over 550 are included, virtually all uncut, and there are over a dozen published here for the first time in any language. Studying the manufacture and reception of these billboards—known locally as banners and cutouts—within the context of the entwined histories of the cinema industry and political parties in Tamil Nadu, Preminda Jacob reveals the broader significance of these fragments of visual culture beyond their immediate function as pretty pieces of advertising. Jacob analyzes the juxtaposition of cinematic and political imagery in the extra-cinematic terrain of Chennai's city streets and how this placement was pivotal to the elevation of regional celebrities to cult status. When interpreting these images and discussing their political and cultural resonance within the Tamil Nadu community, Jacob draws upon multiple perspectives to give appropriate context to this fascinating form of visual media.

In Viral Lobbying a team of expert authors from across the social and natural sciences analyse patterns in and implications of this ‘viral lobbying’. Based on elite surveys and focus group interviews with selected groups, the book provides new evidence on the lobbying strategies used during the COVID 19 pandemic, as well as the resulting access to and lobbying influence on public policy. The empirical analyses reach across eight European countries (Austria, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, United Kingdom), as well as the EU-level. In particular, the book draws on responses from approximately 1,600 interest organisations in two waves of a cross-country survey (in 2020 and 2021, respectively). This quantitative data is supplemented by qualitative evidence from a series of 12 focus groups with organised interests in Ireland, Denmark and the Netherlands conducted in spring 2021.
