Beskrivning
This volume begins with an overview of the anatomy and physiology of the visual pathways and then focuses on the principles of localizing pathology when symptoms of visual disorders appear. Since visual symptoms often accompany neurological problems such as multiple sclerosis, migraine, epilepsy, brain tumors and vascular disease, the patient may be referred either to or from the neurologist or ophthalmologist. The basic neurological examination includes evaluation of the cranial nerves responsible for visual function and disturbance.
