Australia Unsettled The legacy of neo-liberalism examines the intersection between politics and economics as practised in Australia.

It looks at the interconnections between economic theories and politics - the ways in which economic forces (whether real or imaginary) impinge on Australian politics, shaping policies, effecting political parties, and influencing electoral outcomes.

This text demystifies economic policy debates in Australia and examines the legacy that some twenty years of 'neo-liberal' economic views have left. In particular, it strives to give the reader the means to understand the economic policies and debates that have dominated political discourse in Australia since the 1980s.
