This book contains more than 300 problems in quantum mechanics with accompanying solutions, covering topics that are commonly taught in first-year graduate physics programs. Special care is given to each problem's formulation, with detailed and extensive solutions provided to support understanding. Rocco Schiavilla is Professor and Eminent Scholar in the Physics Department of Old Dominion University and Senior Staff Scientist in the Theory Center of the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility. His research interests are in nuclear theory with over 170 publications in this area. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society, and a recipient of the Excellence in Graduate Teaching Award at Old Dominion University, among other awards.
