Bruno Cabanes holds the Donald G. and Mary A. Dunn Chair in Modern Military History at The Ohio State University. He is the author of The Great War and the Origins of Humanitarianism, 1918–1924, which was awarded the Paul Birdsall Prize in 2016. Cameron Givens is a postdoctoral fellow at Southern Methodist University.
