    Alla borde läsa denna bok, både de som sitter på maktpositioner men även alla som röstar i våra politiska val. Läs den och rekommendera vidare andra att göra detsamma.

    En fantastisk bok om man är intresserad av hur den globala ojämlikheten blev till (och hur den kan lösas). Hur har världen blivit så uppdelad? Och varför fortsätter det när det enligt alla mått borde finns tillräckligt för alla?
    Hickel berätter tydigt hur kolonialismens principer på många sätt aldrig har upphört, hur vi i de rika länder genom internationella organisationer som IMF, Världsbanken och WTO fortfarande utnyttjar den globala ekonomin för att i praktiken råna de fattiga länders ... Läs hela recensionen

Jason Hickel is an economic anthropologist, Fulbright Scholar and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He is originally from Eswatini (Swaziland) and spent a number of years with migrant workers in South Africa, writing about exploitation and political resistance in the wake of apartheid. He has authored three books, including most recently The Divide: A Brief Guide to Global Inequality and its Solutions. He writes regularly for the Guardian, Al Jazeera and Foreign Policy, serves as an advisor for the Green New Deal for Europe and sits on the Lancet Commission for Reparations and Redistributive Justice. He lives in London.
