Women Writers Dramatized includes the dramatizations of canonical works by authors such as Jane Austen, George Eliot, Mary Shelley, Harriet Beecher Stowe, as well as lesser-known authors about whom little - and in some cases virtually no - prior scholarly work has been done, contributing to the study of long-forgotten or largely ignored female writers like Frances Trollope, Rlioda Broughton, Sydney Owenson and Jane Porter.
