Beskrivning

Human rights violations in German residential foster homes after 1945: On the one hand happening through the complete institutionalizing of foster children, on the other hand through implicit eugenic and racial hygiene traditions. Run-down, neglected people were coded "second class", even after 1945. This becomes obvious in habitual and personal continuities of NS youth concentration camps and the Polish youth detention camp (Jugendverwahrungslager) Litzmannstadt (before 1945 Slavish youth were a priori seen as second class). The holistic interpretation schemes which are broadly culturally and historically evident and in effect here are based on evolutionary adaption. These interactions, organizations, societal systems and whole societies with regards to inhuman practices can be recoded. This is possible without necessarily binding this de-humanization process on one specific (e.g. NS-) worldview.
