Dr. Berlinger is the project director for the forthcoming revision of theHastings Center guidelines on end-of-life care and has a special interest in ethical issues related to cancer as a chronic illness. Since 1990 he has been involved in research examining the relationship between religionand health in a variety of community and clinical populations.
