Claire Latané is a professor and chair of Cal Poly Pomona’s landscape architecture department, founder of the Collaborative for Healthy and Inclusive Learning Environments, and the author of Schools That Heal: Design with Mental Health in Mind.Jean Yang creates participatory methods—from sticker ethnography to natural pigment extraction—that make spatial power legible through embodied practice. Assistant Professor at SUNY-ESF, she leads National Endowment for the Arts and National Park Service grants with unhoused communities, refugee farmers, and neighborhoods resisting erasure.
