His profound fascination with unraveling societal complexities in times of chaos and uncertainty has been the driving force behind his research endeavors over the past decade that has helped him become an acclaimed scholar, with publications in top scientific and academic journals.Diego's contributions to the field of disaster science and humanitarian action are not confined to academia; He is also an experienced humanitarian practitioner who has participated in missions across the globe, including in East Timor, the Democratic Republic of Congo, India, and Mozambique.In addition to his academic and humanitarian pursuits, Diego is deeply committed to his role as a family man.
