  1. Good overview of fluids and plasmas

    The book is divided in two parts, one on fluids and the other on plasmas.

    It is now 25 years old, so it does not cover the latest progress.

    And of course the contents selection is a challenge for the two topics; but I think the author has done a thoughtful choice.

    What would be good to have would be a real comparison between plasmas and fluids in addition to a description of the separate fields. This would show the commonalities more clearly.
