Nice story
Nice story that builds throughout the book. Not as "Christmassy" as I thought after reading reviews/synopsis beforehand, however that was not a negative.

Dark, magical and wondreful
Not quite as stunning as the fist part but still a great ending to the duology. The writing is captivating and the pace is high.

LOVE this book!! The characters, the magic and the intrigue is so well captured. So wonderfully written and I can't wait to read the next part.

Refreshingly weird but the reader is left out
Old school kind of fairy tail as a basis and a nice world depiction. However you don't get to know what the main character learns during her year of investigations since most of that is skipped over.
