Om man som action fan inte är bekant med Verns prosa så är den här boken ett bra ställe att börja. Har själv alltid haft problem med hur filmkritiker sågar actionfilmer och bedömer dem efter opassande kriterier.Vem har sagt att man inte kan analysera Steven Seagal's filmer på djupet? Vern har en mer djupgående syn på actionfilmer som alla andra filmkritiker saknar.
