    Beskrivning

Brian Wesbury's keen insight and sage advice put the stock market boom of the late 1990s into perspective. But more than a book about riding the wave, Wesbury shared with readers the four key principles that would continue to rule the stock market well into the 21st century. In The New Era of Wealth, Brian Wesbury explains the five key trends that created the boom - and will sustain economic growth for the future. Wesbury shows how understanding these trends will provide more investment ideas than any one individual could implement - and how understanding them will help investors avoid making huge mistakes with their money. In simple language, Wesbury, at once opinionated and optimistic, offers investment strategies for creating personal wealth in the years ahead. Invest in equities: The risk of investing in stocks will decline; Invest in bonds: When inflation is non-existent, even low yields provide a very high real interest rate; Trust serendipity: A dynamic economy increases opportunity; Wesbury employs a common sense economic approach to show how optimism is rewarded today will be in the future. He shares the tool that made him the top economist of 2001 and helps investors cut through the information overload to focus on only the most important data by explaining the investment implications for stocks, mutual funds, bonds, real estate, and commodities. With a new introduction by the author, the five key economic trends outlined in The New Era of Wealth and the investing strategies they spawn will help investors profit today and in the years to come.

Investor's Business Daily; "The book's added value lies in the time it takes to lay out the ideas that got us to the roaring '90s.
