Stagno, MD Endowed Chair in Pedaitric Infectious Diseases/Vice Chair for Clinical and Translational Research at Children's Alabama, Birmingham. Dr. Kimberlin is a world renowned pediatric infectious diseases specialist at the University of Alabama, is at the fulcrum of NIH- sponsored multicentered clinical trials especially related to antiviral therapy, is the chief editor of the Red Book Report of the Committee on Infectious Diseases of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a national leader in academic and subspecilty societies. He has been a contributor of critical chapters in PPPID since its inception.
