My Friends Were Mean to Me

Social interrelationships can be difficult, especially for children. They are learning how to interact, and often need guidance in handling their social difficulties.

This book is the first in a series written to help children through some of their difficult, but often common, real life issues. In this story, Sara''s fun life with her friends gets turned upside down when they suddenly start being mean to her. She finds herself an outcast for no apparent reason.

Sara goes to her grandpa for advice. From him, Sara learns the likely reason why they were mean, and how to handle the situation going forward. It is advice she can utilize for the rest of her life.
