Tombs of three Memphite officials

This volume makes a valuable contribution to understanding non-royal or more modest burial practices and social networks in the Memphite necropolis during the New Kingdom. It covers the tombs found by a joint Egypt Exploration Society and Rijksmuseum van Oudheden expedition, detailing the architecture, objects, and human remains. Unlike grand elite monuments, the tombs of Khay and Pabes are relatively humble, providing key insights into the social and professional contexts of the New Kingdom cemetery south of the Unas causeway.
