Joy

A debut picture book from outstanding new talent Clare Vacha, Joy is guaranteed to bring you just that. Meet Joy, a mischievous little elephant, who is ‘helping’ make a cake for Nanny’s birthday. But, as is often the case with little elephants, it’s not quite that straightforward. First, she eats all the strawberries, so they have to go to the supermarket. But on the way she sees the duck pond . . . and then the park . . .An utterly charming story about how, when little ones are involved, the smallest moments become the biggest adventures! Certain to elicit a wry smile from many a long-suffering parent or carer while it delights their young reader.
