Academic Rivalry makes for the best romance...Ellie Monroe has finished her debut novel, The Soulmate Proposal, about her parents falling in love. For as long as she can remember, writing has been the thing she wanted to do, and now she is working towards being a published author! She plans to not tell anyone about it, but when her academic nemesis Chandler Gray realizes what she is up to, he tells her that writing romance would be easy for him. His arrogance drives Ellie crazy so they make a bet; Ellie will help him write his true crime drama, and Chandler will help her write romance.
