Mother Goose - The Old Nursery Rhymes - Illustrated by Arthur Rackham

A wonderful collection of classic nursery rhymes and fairy tales, penned by the legendary Mother Goose and illustrated by Arthur Rackham.

Mother Goose is the pen-name for the celebrated author of over 100 original fairy tales and nursery rhymes. The author’s identity remains unknown, and some believe that she never existed. It was Charles Perrault who first published a collection of Mother Goose’s writings in 1697, initiating the fairy tale genre. This collection is accompanied by Arthur Rackham’s illustrations. A masterful artist from the Golden Age of Illustration, Rackham’s work complements this volume’s classic verse.
