Autumn on Pender

The blueberry bushes have turned a deep red,
The maples, a golden hue,
And rays from the sun cast their warm, mellow light,
On the sparkle of morning dew.

The roadside resembles a rich fall bouquet,
A feast for the travelling eye,
And my heart vibrates to the thrill of the morn,
As I go meandering by.
