Story of the Loch Ness Monster

Tales of a mysterious creature living in Loch Ness have been told since 565 AD. However, sightings multiplied exponentially after a road was built around the loch in 1933. Is this beast a log, a swimming elephant, a large eel—or something else entirely? This volume takes an in-depth look at the legend of Nessie, examining the eyewitness testimony and scientific evidence. Full-color photographs and engaging sidebars enhance the informative main text, and a glossary of new terms gives readers a better understanding of the material.
