This book reports on advances in automatic control, with a special focus on research carried out in Latin America. Based on contributions to the XX Latin American Control Congress (LACC 2025), held on October 13–17, 2025, in Cancún, Mexico, it highlights methods for modelling and control of both linear and nonlinear systems. It covers passivity-based strategies, optimization, neural networks, and data-based approaches, among others, together with applications vehicle control, electrical and electromechanical systems.
