Susanne Hennecke argues that Karl Barth´s theology developed in the Netherland´s reception as an alternative cultural theology. For the first time ever she presents Karl Barth´s theological, cultural, and political reception and impact on the Netherlands as a whole. Hennecke´s reflections may be suitable to start and compare Karl Barth´s receptions internationally.
