Selected Poems

For the most part, free verse. Poetry that's both organic in inspiration and rigorously shaped. For the most part, straightforward, understandable writing. Very few "e;puzzle"e; poems that need to be deciphered in order to comprehend their meaning. Themes? Generally, those of modern lyric poetry. Occasionally gay subject matter; in one or two instances, topical. Not didactic. Not humorous except perhaps now and then. Character driven, many of the poems. "e;Serious poetry for serious minds."e; Yes.
