Altar Server

In the shadow of a tragic past and a suffocating faith, 17-year-old altar server Elijah "e;Po"e; Garcia fakes piety until a boozy Easter meltdown unleashes explosive chaos: magnesium-fueled incense bombs, flooded homes, and a rebellion that shatters his family's holy facade. Hilarious, irreverent, and achingly real, this coming-of-age tale explores doubt, desire, and the messy path to true grace.
