Controlled Burn

They thought they understood the rules. They were wrong. For years, the Courtenay brothers have survived by being smarter, faster, and more prepared than the people trying to destroy them.  Fon Balcourt has discovered something their intelligence can't solve: The people they love. Samuel is hospitalized, as is Anton's son, Leo. Isaac and Elias are sent into self imposed exile on Orcas Island and in Utah. Gabriel's hands are bloodstained. Anton's sent his daughter, Tara, to Orcas Island for her safety while struggling to keep the remaining threads of his family together...and deal with the arrival of several agents of the shadow intelligence network Ouroboros, who claim they're in Seattle to clean up the mess As the legacy of AEGIS-FIVE begin to surface, Fon tightens the trap. Fon knows the Courtenays love control. He will use Love to break them.
