Peace Amid the Chaos

Fractured by a devastating past, Lisa and Miriam—once inseparable childhood friends—are thrust back into each other's lives when Miriam's mother is hospitalized. With years of guilt, grief, and unspoken hurt simmering just beneath the surface, their reunion is anything but easy. As if the tension between them isn't enough, Miriam's brother, Nathaniel, still harbors a deep resentment toward Lisa, blaming her for a long-buried childhood tragedy. His relentless pursuit of the truth threatens to expose painful secrets that have lain dormant for years, shattering the delicate peace they've each struggled to build. As old wounds reopen and hidden truths come to light, their fragile reconnection becomes a dangerous journey of truth-telling—one that will test the limits of forgiveness, challenge the shame they've carried, and ultimately unravel everything they thought they knew about themselves, their friendship, and the painful events of the past. And in the midst of it all, it dares them to believe that love and hope might still have a place in their broken world.
