Parts Three and Four introduce further case studies from regional and inter-regional organizations, Part Five analyses the most important autonomous international parliamentary assemblies not included within the framework of international organizations and Part Six evaluates the role of global civil society movements in the process of democratization. This title is a valuable resource for scholars and research students in a variety of disciplines relating to politics and international relations, in addition to practitioners and civil servants of international organizations.
