En Observando verdades y memorias se hace seguimiento al discurso expuesto en las noticias divulgadas en medios de comunicación nacionales durante los años 2019 y 2021 con relación a los órganos creados en el Acuerdo de La Habana: la Jurisdicción Especial para la Paz (JEP), la Comisión para el Esclarecimiento de la Verdad, la Convivencia y la No Repetición (CEV) y la Unidad de Búsqueda de Personas Dadas por Desaparecidas (UBPD) del Sistema Integral de Verdad, Justicia, Reparación y Garantía de No Repetición (SIVJRNR), hoy Sistema Integral para la Paz (SIP). Por lo tanto, se desarrollan análisis de veracidad, neutralidad, relevancia y equilibrio como condiciones de posibilidad para la superación del conflicto armado y social colombiano. Esta investigación del grupo REPENSARelDERECHO de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia y su Observatorio Verdad&Memoria surge como respuesta a la promesa del entonces partido de gobierno de "hacer trizas el Acuerdo", ya que su propósito es invitar a un diálogo entre la anamnesis y la construcción polifónica de verdades como aproximación a la justicia basada en la memoria, a la Justicia Anamnética y el cumplimiento de la responsabilidad social de los medios de comunicación en la formación de opinión pública.
