Kanami seems to have received magic powers and a special unnamed skill that kicks in whenever he is overwhelmed, which helps him stabilise but has a disturbing effect on his emotions and mind. But his motives aren’t totally altruistic since he wants to use her as a dungeon diving companion. Maria stubbornly refuses to see their relationship as anything but master and slave, but over time she gradually warms to Kanami. Will she use her unique skills to help him defeat the Dungeon?

The two are a formidable team and quickly start clearing floors, but they run into trouble when their high kill count catches the eye of an over-powered enemy!
