Kanami seems to have received magic powers and a special unnamed skill that kicks in whenever he is overwhelmed, which helps him stabilise but has a disturbing effect on his emotions and mind. After attracting the attention of a mysterious girl, Kanami may have the power he needs to return home to his ailing sister... but at what price?

To do so, he has teamed up with Dia, a swordfighter whose magic stats are off the charts. The two are a formidable team and quickly start clearing floors, but they run into trouble when their high kill count catches the eye of an over-powered enemy!

Kanami and Lastiara proceed through the Dungeon, but it’s not exactly an easy trip. Their way is blocked by the magma flowing through one of the floors, and when they retreat they run into the celestial knight Lagune! Is Kanami any match for her and her powerful magic sword?Once they finally escape the Dungeon, Kanami decides to relax a little and take part in the Festival of the Blessed Birth. There, Lastiara tells him her true identity and why she has such amazing magical powers.
