Mists of Time

A rich and epic dual-time story, with a sweeping romance of soulmates across the ages from the Queen of Viking Romance, Christina Courtenay. ………. Sweden, AD 908. Hedda, a young woman gifted with dangerous powers of prophecy, is forced towards a marriage she dreads. Ingemar, heir to a rival clan and sworn enemy to her people, should be the last man she would ever trust. But when he abducts her and saves her from a disastrous fate, Hedda is swept into a world of sea voyages, treachery and ancient magic. As they journey across the Baltic’s wild waters, a fierce and forbidden passion flares between them. Yet dark forces are gathering. Kings plot against kings, loyalties are tested, and betrayal lurks closer than either of them knows. With enemies on every side, Hedda and Ingemar must fight not only for their love, but for their very survival.More than a thousand years later, in the mist-veiled town of Sigtuna, echoes of Hedda and Ingemar’s story begin to stir once more. For some loves are too powerful to be bound by time – and some destinies will not rest until the cycle is complete.
