A design graduate from the University of Nairobi, she creates art that champions environmental conservation and cultural motifs, working with clients such as The New Yorker and Google Doodle. When she isn't illustrating for charitable initiatives or editorial projects, Wanjira is scouting ethical fashion or finding inspiration in cinema and soul music. She is currently focused on expanding her work into children’s books and sustainable sneaker design.
