Noor and the Storyteller

Seina Wedlick is a Nigerian-American children’s book author based in San Francisco. In addition to Noor and the Storyteller, she is the author of picture books Naming Ceremony, The Night Market, and Space for Everyone. She is passionate about early literacy and equity in education, and strives to incorporate diversity, culture, and traditions into all her books. From an early age, she could be found drawing pigs and superheroes in her dad’s antique books. She is the illustrator of picture books such as When Isaac Hears the Rain and The Fig Tree.
