Harper Lee was born in 1926 in Monroeville, Alabama. She is the author of the acclaimed To Kill a Mockingbird, originally published in 1960; and Go Set a Watchman, published in July 2015. Ms Lee received the Pulitzer Prize, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and numerous other literary awards and honours. She died in 2016.

    Har läst den för många år sedan och den går direkt till hjärtat. Nu köpte jag den som födelsedagspresent till 16 årigt barnbarn. Hon läser mycket både på svenska och engelska. Lovar att det blev succe' när boken överlämnades på hennes födelsedag!

    Such an amazing and touching story through the eyes of an innocent child. It's a very good book and I think everyone should read it!

    Skam till sägandes trots att jag anser mig vara en läsintrsserad person, så hade jag aldrig läst den förrän i sommar. Det som förvånade mig var att den var så överraskande lättläst på engelska men även att den var riktigt kul!

    Fantastic book that is still up to date. It's definitely one of the best books written and I recommend to read it more than once!
    It's amazing how such an old book can last until today. The questions seems just as important today as they were 50 years ago!

    Det är en bok om en annan tid, en annan plats och andra värderingar ¿. eller?
    Mystiska Harper Lee har skrivit en klassiker som halva Amerika läst och fortsätter läsa. Vad är det som fångar alla? Framför allt; varför har världen inte blivit bättre trots boken?
    Just denna utgåva är vacker och härlig att hålla i. Det var värt några kronor extra!
