The Detection of Biomarkers

Dr. Sibel A. Ozkan has been a Full Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ankara University, Türkiye, since 1986. She is an active member of the Division of Analytical Chemistry of the European Chemical Society, representing the Turkish Chemical Society. Her research encompasses separation techniques, chiral separation, drug analysis, electrochemical biosensors, nanosensors, biomarkers, environmental sensors, method development, and validation of drug assays. She serves as an editor for the Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis and is also an editorial board member of Talanta, Chromatographia, Biosensors & Bioelectronics: X, and other prominent journals.Nurgul K. Bakirhan is an Associated Professor at the Department of Analytical Chemistry, Gulhane Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Health Sciences, Turkey. She received her doctorate from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ankara University in Turkey. She was visiting researcher at the Université libre de Bruxelles with TUBITAK 2214 fellowship during six months. Her research interests include sensors, nanomaterials, conductive polymers, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and electrochemical investigations on active pharmaceutical compounds, validation. She has published over 60 papers and 10 book chapters. Fariba Mollarasouli is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Yasouj University, Yasouj, Iran. Her areas of research and expertise include analytical and bioanalytical method development, drug analysis, electrochemical sensors and biosensors, immunosensors, as well as the development of various nanomaterials (design, synthesis, characterization, and applications) for fabricating nanosensors with clinical and environmental applications.
