Linda Chapman lives in Leicestershire with her young family and two lively Bernese mountain dogs. She learned to ride when she was three and her first pony was a very stubborn Welsh mountain pony called Swizzle, who she used to imagine was a unicorn but who unfortunately behaved nothing like Twilight! Her reputation as a children's author continues to grow with the highly successful My Secret Unicorn, Not Quite a Mermaid and Stardust series for girls. When she is not writing she spends her time training dogs and putting on plays – and of course riding whenever she can.
