    Another wow from me. This topic could be heavy and hard to read, grasp. The author however writes with a flow and makes it easy to flow with him. You can read from cover to cover or hop in where you feel drawn.
    Lot's of clues and clarity about how trauma gets stuck in our bodies. ¿fascinating and insightful read.

    Bessel van der Kolk har skrivit en angelägen och initierad bok om trauma, vilken varvar berättelser, mångårig erfarenhet och forskning inom trauma. På köpet får man även sammanfattning av många psykologiska teorier och tankegångar, varför boken faktiskt även kan ses om en lärobok inom psykologi.

    Språket är kompakt och direkt, - Bessel's sätt att skriva har mer drag av passionerad och engagerad medmänniska än den torra vetenskapsmannens, varför boken är lätt att läsa men boken målar ... Läs hela recensionen

Dr Bessel van der Kolk is one of the world's foremost experts on traumatic stress. He is the founder and medical director of the Trauma Center in Boston, USA, and the director of the Complex Trauma Treatment Network. A past professor of psychiatry at Boston University Medical School, Dr van der Kolk is the author of several scholarly books and over a hundred scientific articles.
