    Beskrivning

Medical practice requires familiarity with clinical guidelines and standards, which are often published in long, separate and discursive documents. This new publication compacts and brings together in one place the key clinical practice guidelines which all Internal Medicine Trainees (IMTs) should know when managing common conditions. Each guideline summary is summarized into an easily digestible format with practical tips and patient considerations including clear instructions for when a more senior colleague should be called upon to help. Organised by medical specialty, the reader can quickly find the core principles of diagnosis and management at the appropriate level for those beginning to specialize in internal medicine and general practice/family medicine. Written by a team of resident doctors under the supervision of senior clinicians, this unique resource distils the key guidelines from a variety of key organizations.Practical and user-friendly, with tables, diagrams, flowcharts, and algorithms to convey essential points quickly and easily, Oxford Clinical Guidelines is the invaluable resource for every doctor during their Internal Medicine Training.
