In this revised and expanded edition, Dr Katherine Phillips draws on years of scientific research, clinical practice, and detailed interviews with patients to bring readers an updated book on body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), a relatively common and sometimes debilitating disorder in which sufferers are obsessed with perceived appearance flaws. The book describes BDD and includes a quick self-assessment questionnaire. Four new treatment chapters provide updated information and recommendations on how to effectively treat BDD.
